After selling our Caribbean island in May 2014 we headed off to Texas, where we bought a second-hand RV in Houston.
We bought it from a private seller via a consignment dealer called PPL Motorhomes. The purchase was very easy, and the service was fantastic.
We spent six wonderful months freewheeling around the southern states of the USA, staying in National and State Parks most of the time.
At the end of the journey we sold the RV. We returned it to PPL in Houston, and when they sold it we were paid the proceeds of the sale, less PPL’s commission.
We were thrilled to sell for the same price we had originally paid. The only repair we had to make was replacing the rediator. What a bargain.
The whole story is told in the blog posts below. There are 21 posts in total, starting in May and ending in October 2014.
There are many more pix included in the blogs, a small selection of which can be seen in the image slideshow here.
