What is the meaning of life?

It's one of the biggest questions we ever have to grapple with. Your answer will, of course, be unique to you. You might have pondered some of the following thought-provoking ideas when exploring your possible answer:

  • What did I dream of as a child?
  • What have I achieved so far?
  • What do I hope the future holds?
  • What would be my "perfect lifestyle"?
  • Am I in the "right job"
  • Am I happy?
  • What could I change to make my life better?

Of course there are many other aspects to the whole "meaning of life" equation. The above list of ponderables is potentially endless.

So here's another question for you...

Or are you interested in off-grid living, inspired by a TV show documentary hosted by Ben Fogle, documenting "New Lives in the Wild". How does someone end up living on their own tiny Caribbean island off the coast of Panama from 2011 to 2104?

But the eBay auction thrust me into the limelight in 2008 in a way I never really expected. The results over the following years have been beyond my wildest dreams.

I could never have imagined the life I am now living. Along with my partner Vanessa, we have built our own personal version of what we call a freedom lifestyle. And this is the real point of this new iteration of the IanUsher.com website. Freedom.

I feel like I have discovered the secret to life, and want to help you do the same. But as suggested at the top of the page, your version of the perfect life will probably be very different to mine. But I believe many of the steps on the way to achieving the lifestyle of your dreams will be the same, or very similar.
