An inspiring and uplifting talk on overcoming adversity, out-of-the-box thinking, goal setting, positive attitude, and living the life of your dreams.:-

My name is Ian Usher and, prompted by one of life's unexpected turns, I decided it was time to begin the next chapter of my life. I wanted to leave my past behind, to make a fresh start and to seek new adventures.

So on 14th March 2008 I launched my "ALife4Sale" website, stating that I was going to put my "life" up for sale on eBay! The announcement caught the attention of the world's media, and from that day my life was never going to be the same again. My new adventure had started. During the run-up to the auction, which took place in June 2008, I wondered about exactly what I wanted to do next, and several events and ideas eventually resulted in me writing a list of 100 goals, things I always wanted to do, and places I always wanted to see, and challenging myself to go and achieve them all in a period of 100 weeks. And so on 4th August 2008 I set off on an incredible journey, "100goals100weeks".

The 100 weeks journey is now over, and I am now living in Whitehorse in Canada while I work on the book about the journey, which will be called "A LIFE SOLD"

I am looking forward to the future, and once to book is published, I hope that I will be able to include some public speaking on the next part of my journey. AIn the meantime, I am offering a FREE talk for any company, group, team, organisation or event, anywhere in the USA or Canada. All I would ask is that you cover expenses of getting me to where you need me to be.

Why free? Well, I am quite happy to admit that I am a complete newcomer to public speaking, although do have a background of talking to groups, and a confidence to do so, having trained as a teacher, worked with groups of people in outdoor education, and more recently, given many live TV and radio interviews. So I see this as an opportunity for both sides. You get a free speaker, and I get to hone my speaking skills, and polish my presentation.

This will be a unique event, and can be tailored to suit your needs. Some of the many inspriations possible from the story:-
